The Core Strategy for Slough 2006-2026

The Core Strategy for Slough was adopted by Full Council on the 16th December 2008.

The Core Strategy sets out a vision, spatial strategy and overarching policies to guide development in the Borough of Slough up to 2026, and forms a key part of the Local Development Framework (LDF). The LDF forms the basis for decisions on land use and spatial planning in Slough, and will comprise a number of DPDs (including a Site Allocations DPD).

The Core Strategy was found to be sound, subject to essential changes, by an Independent Inspector following an Examination in Public held 13-23 May 2008. The Inspector’s Report was published on 22nd August 2007; the adopted Core Strategy incorporates the binding recommendations of the Inspector.

Copies of the Adoption Statement, the Core Strategy,  the Inspector’s Report and the Core Strategy Submission document are available to download here.
